That’s a good question, I’m glad you asked…
We believe God put something on our heart a few years ago… an image of what being a follower of Jesus could look like.
And it goes a little something like this:
6:33 is not a church, we don’t have a building, we don’t have a worship band, and we don’t have a stage… What we do have, is a platform and a vision, and I think that is just as important…
6:33 is an online Christian resource, through Blog, Podcast, and Social Media posts… The goal is to equip the Saints (you) to do the work of the ministry (I know, strange concept) {Eph 4:12}. We do this by sharing Gods word totally, and making it (we pray) applicable for today.
Now, ultimately in sharing Gods word in such a manner (the prayer of 6:33) is that you would share it with your unsaved and unchurched friends and family. Like many of you, we did not grow up in a Christian home, we were saved form a lost and broken life, void of joy and peace later in life (early 30’s). Just like many of you, and definitely like your unchurched family and friends.
So why 6:33? (another good question, I’m glad you asked). 6:33 is referring to Mattew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” You see, if you google just “6:33” it pulls up this verse, and gives the reader the basic gospel message. Our message is all about Jesus… SO WHY NOT
So heres the ask… (humble face with hat in hand) if you’re reading this, and you like what you have seen so far… follow the page, like, and comment so we can encourage you, and be encouraged by you (another principle of Christian community) {1 Cor. 14:6} But, most importantly, share the material with someone you love who doesn’t call on Christ as Lord of their life.
I know it’s a lot of moving pieces, so be patient as we learn how to intergrade all this together. With your help, this will become a movement bigger than I could ever imagine:
